When a De La Terre Skincare product is manufactured, that production is assigned its own batch number, allowing us to trace the ingredients used in that particular production back to their supplier lot numbers.
The batch number you see on a De La Terre Skincare product is therefore part of our quality-control and traceability system. It is not an expiration date.
We also retain samples from our production batches for up to two years and periodically evaluate them for stability during that period.

This can include prescription retinoids, exfoliating acids, acne medications, medical-grade skincare products, and other corrective treatments. If you have a history of reacting to topical skincare products, a patch test is recommended before introducing a new product.
Herb Rich Clay should be used with particular care by individuals using treatments such as Retin-A (tretinoin), salicylic acid, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion.
