FAQs

Is every case of red skin a sign of rosacea?

This skin condition is often the most commonly misdiagnosed condition. When a person's skin shows signs of redness, it is immediately labeled as rosacea. However, this is not accurate!

Why is my skin always flakey?

When your skin its flakey it is a sign that your skin is working to protect you. Whether you skin is dry, over processed, detoxifying, has barrier disturbances, your skin's natural defense will be heightened causing flakiness.

You should never exfoliate or taken away flakey skin. Instead use De La Terre Skincare's Herb Rich Balm to offset dryness and help to restore the skin's barrier.

Once the skin is no longer in defense mode then you can switch to Active Support Skin Lotion or Herb Rich Serum.

Why is my skin so sensitive and reactive?

Most skins have been over processed with synthetic chemicals and acid-based ingredients. These artificial ingredients weaken your skin's protective barrier, making it more sensitive and reactive.

What do all inflamed skin conditions have in common?

All of these are autoimmune skin conditions. As a result, care should involve anti-inflammatory products, nourishing the skin, and restoring the skin's barrier.
